The Anniversary Logo - Guidelines

The BIPM encourages the use of its official 150th Anniversary logo to promote and celebrate this significant milestone in metrology. Please help us to ensure consistent and appropriate usage by following these guidelines:

Scope of Use:

Authorized Users: The logo is available for use by National Metrology Institutes, international organizations, educational institutions and partners directly involved in events or publications related to the 150th Anniversary of the Metre Convention.

Permissible Applications: The logo may be used in event banners, presentations, publications, websites and other promotional materials that align with the anniversary's objectives.

Usage Guidelines:

Integrity: The logo must be used in its entirety without alteration. This includes maintaining the original colours, proportions and design elements.

Placement: Ensure the logo is placed in a manner that maintains its visibility and prominence, adhering to any clear-space requirements.

Copyright: These logos are provided to you as promotional material for non‐commercial use only, to help you inform your stakeholders about the Anniversary.

The logo must not be used for commercial purposes, fundraising or any activities that imply endorsement by the BIPM without prior written consent. Additionally, it should not be associated with any content that contradicts the mission and values of the BIPM.

The BIPM reserves the right to revoke usage rights in cases of non-compliance with these guidelines.
