We are excited to announce an open call for poster submissions on key metrology challenges, as part of the 150th anniversary of the Metre Convention.
This is your chance to showcase your research and innovations in the field of measurement science and contribute to the celebration of this historic milestone.
Call for poster abstracts: Deadline 15 December 2024
We invite scientists to submit their work on one of nine metrology topics, which include:
- SI Units and Fundamental Metrology
- Environment and Climate Change/li>
- Health and Life Sciences
- Safe Food and Water
- Energy
- Industry and Advanced Manufacturing
- Digital Transformation, AI and Systems Metrology
- Metrology for Quantum Technologies
- New Opportunities for Metrology
How to Participate:
Submit an abstract of up to 500 words in English by 15 December 2024. Abstracts should describe a metrology challenge, its impact and highlight recent progress or future needs in the field.
If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to submit an electronic poster (PDF) and a 3-minute audio presentation (MP3) by 15 February 2025.
The Bureau International des Poids et Mesures’ (BIPM) will showcase selected posters on the official 150th anniversary website, and lead authors will be invited to present their posters at an anniversary event on 21 May 2025.
