Aim
Machine-readable, findable, accessible and reusable information and data is essential for digitalisation and also known as “FAIR principles”. The aim of this workshop is to establish a common understanding on the FAIR principles and their role for the scientific and quality infrastructure. With several keynote presentations, Q&A elements and panel discussions, challenges and benefits will be identified and common approaches be discussed.
The workshop is set just before the first meeting of the CIPM “Forum on Metrology and Digitization”, which will take place 7th and 8th of March 2024.
The workshop is organised by the signatories of the Joint Statement of Intent (JSI) as a hybrid workshop at the BIPM headquarters.
