Date and Venue
- 23 and 24 November 2024
- National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India
Overview
This workshop will cover key topics through tutorial lectures and hands-on training sessions. Participants will gain practical experience in clock data analysis, generation of time scales, and time transfer techniques relevant to UTC(k) operations.
The objective of this workshop is to support institutes to improve their National Standard Time and their contributions to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) through participation in BIPM
The theme of the workshop is “UTC(k) Timescale Generation and GNSS links”. The workshop is planned for
The programme is planned that the participant shall get the complete knowledge about the subject and the hands-on training on the related aspects. The hands-on/lab sessions include analyzing the clock data, which is the primary step to make a time scale ensemble, simulation of ensemble time scale with a sample data or using actual data, on user friendly software. Hands-on experiments with actual hardware are planned to demonstrate the clock steering mechanism.
