CCEM Task Group on Digitalization (CCEM-TG-DIG)

Terms of reference

The General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM), at its 27th meeting, adopted Resolution 2 ”On the global digital transformation and the International System of Units”. In response to this Resolution, the CIPM has set up a Forum on Metrology and Digitalization (FORUM-MD) to address the digital challenges.

The CCEM Task Group on Digitalisation, CCEM TG-DIG, helps implement the CGPM Resolution and decisions taken by the FORUM-MD in the Electricity and Magnetism area and contributes to the work within the FORUM-MD from the Electricity and Magnetism perspective.

The objectives of the TG-DIG are to:

• support the development of the SI Reference Point and BIPM digital services in the field of Electricity and Magnetism
• support the activities of the CIPM Forum on Metrology and Digitalization in Electricity and Magnetism
• provide an overview of digitalization issues relevant to the CCEM community
• exchange good digitalization practices with the CCEM community
