The key comparison reference value, xR, is calculated as the weighted mean of the participant's results, xi, weighted by the inverse square of the individual uncertainties, ui, with weights limited to a maximum of 20% (see details in Section 4.2 page 58 of the CCPR-K2.b Final report).

The key comparison reference value, expressed in A/W, together with its associated relative standard uncertainty, are given in Table 47, page 63, of the same Final Report.

The degree of equivalence of the each laboratory with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = (xi - xR) and Ui its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in relative units.

The degree of equivalence between two laboratories is given by a pair of terms:
Dij = Di - Dj and Uij its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in relative units.

The detailed computation of the expanded uncertainties Ui and Uij is given on pages 62 and 63 of the CCPR-K2.b Final Report.

  • Key comparison EURAMET.PR-K2.b

The EURAMET.PR-K2.b individual results are first treated inside EURAMET through the computation of a EURAMET reference value and corresponding degrees of equivalence (see Section 7 of the Final Report).

Linkage to the CCPR-K2.b key comparison reference value is established through the common participation of LNE-INM, IO-CSIC and VSL in both key comparisons (see Section 8 of the Final Report).

This makes it possible to extend the table of degrees of equivalence and the graph of equivalence obtained for CCPR-K2.b to the laboratories having participated in EURAMET.PR-K2.b only.

The degree of equivalence of the each laboratory with respect to the key comparison reference value is given by a pair of terms:
Di = (xi - xR) and Ui its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in relative units.

The degree of equivalence between two laboratories is given by a pair of terms:
Dij = Di - Dj and Uij its expanded uncertainty (k = 2), both expressed in relative units.

The EURAMET.PR-K2.b individual results are first treated inside EURAMET through the computation of a EURAMET reference value and corresponding degrees of equivalence (see Section 7 of the Final Report).

Linkage to the CCPR-K2.b key comparison reference value is established through the common participation of LNE-INM, IO-CSIC and VSL in both key comparisons (see Section 8 of the Final Report).

This makes it possible to extend the table of degrees of equivalence and the graph of equivalence obtained for CCPR-K2.b to the laboratories having participated in EURAMET.PR-K2.b only.
