MEASURAND: Density of liquids
LIQUID: Water at 20 °C
CCM.D-K2
The key comparison reference value xR and its associated expanded uncertainty at a 95% level of confidence, UR are calculated according to section 5 of the CCM.D-K2 Final Report, where the key comparison reference value is computed by a Monte Carlo method using the median. The distribution is usually non-symmetric and the confidence interval may not be equally spaced around the reference value.
xR = 998.3220 kg/m3 UR lower = 0.0038 kg/m3 and UR upper = 0.0038 kg/m3
The degree of equivalence of laboratory i relative to the key comparison reference value xR is given by a pair of terms, both expressed in kg/m3:
Di and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence are calculated by the Monte Carlo method according to section 8 of the CCM.D-K2 Final Report.
