The key comparison CCM.D-K4 was carried out in two "petals". A reference value was calculated for each transfer instrument and petal. The method how to calculate a common key comparison reference value, xR , and associated expanded uncertainty at a 95% confidence level, UR,and the reciprocal Degrees of Equivalence is described  on pages 14 to 19 of the CCM.D-K4 Final Report and in Section 3.2.1 of the Supplement to CCM.D-K4.

 

Degrees of equivalence are represented by Di = (xI - xR) and its expanded uncertainty Ui at a 95 % level of confidence, both expressed in kg/m3.

 

LINKING EUROMET.M.D-K4 to CCM.D-K4

The results of EUROMET.M.D-K4 were linked to CCM.M.D-K4 via INRiM (ITALY), MKEH(1) (Hungary) and the PTB (Germany) who participated in both comparisons.

 

LINKING SIM.M.D-K4 to CCM.D-K4

The results of SIM.M.D-K4 were linked to CCM.M.D-K4 via CENAM (Mexico) who participated in both comparisons.

 

LINKING EURAMET.M.D-K4.2020 to CCM.D-K4

The results of EURAMET.M.D-K4.2020 were linked to CCM.M.D-K4 via INRiM (ITALY), BFKH (Hungary) and the PTB (Germany) who participated in both comparisons.

Measurements were carried from January 2011 to April 2012.

The participants were divided into two groups where each group used their particular set of four hydrometers. The results of the participants are given in Appendix A1 of the CCM.D-K4 Final Report.
